| Job Information | MD DO Physician LTAC Hospitalist Jobs Michigan BC BE Internal Medicine or Med-Peds in Buchanan, Michigan area! Full Relocation! Excellent opportunity to practice as a Solo Hospitalist in a skilled nursing facility in Michigan! Healthcare facility is “state of the art” and offers an outstanding total compensation package and full benefits. Incumbent will perform general history and physical examinations on patients in order to assess their health status, diagnose existing health problems and implement preventive medicine measures. Will perform routine screening exams on patients. Plan therapeutic regimens for patients that require treatment of acute illnesses and provide appropriate follow-up. Will assure timely management and referral for patients who do not respond to current treatment or in the event that advice or clinical input is needed. Will offer education and counseling to patients and employees concerning the results and meaning of examinations and tests and on preventive medicine strategies, particularly in regard to promoting health and well being. Qualifications: United States Citizen or Permanent Resident Michigan License Preferred Education: Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine. Approved schools are: schools of medicine holding regular institutional membership in the Association of American Medical Colleges for the year in which the degree was granted, schools of osteopathic medicine approved by the American Osteopathic Association for the year in which the degree was granted, schools (including foreign schools) accepted by the licensing body of a State, Territory, or Commonwealth (i.e., Puerto Rico), or in the District of Columbia as qualifying for full or unrestricted licensure. Completion of an ACGME-approved Residency in Internal Medicine or Med Peds. ABME-approved Board-certification strongly preferred. ACLS current certification required.
