OR Nurse Manager

Reports to the Director of Perioperative Services and works collaboratively with other members of the leadership team to meet the personnel, operational, and professional development requirements of the specialty.

With 28 Operating Rooms and multiple specialties including trauma & robotics and caring for over 17,000 patients each year, our OR will provide you with a challenging & rewarding nursing career.

The nurse manager provides leadership & direction to the perioperative clinical and support staff assigned to the care team.
Will establish a collaborative relationship with physicians, physician extenders, and other personnel to provide direct patient care within the specialty.

Requirements:
RN
Recent OR nursing experience.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.  Master of Science in Nursing and/or MBA preferred.  
Other Bachelor degree acceptable if pursuing BSN or MSN; must complete by 1/1/2013.  
Three years of leadership experience required.  
Strong experience in general surgery and ob/gyn surgery preferred.
